Brian Weber, Endicott, NY
2017 Binghamton Recipient
Brian Weber, a self-employed General Contractor and single father of 3 teenagers, was diagnosed with Brain Cancer in February, had the tumor surgically removed in early March, started a 2 month course of radiation and will have chemotherapy for the next year. Making ends meet had become increasingly more difficult and will continue to be a challenge throughout his treatment as he will not be able to work for some time. Brian has been the primary provider for the last 7 years for teenagers Nathan, Naomi & Joshua who are involved with athletics and 4H. Brian’s Family and Friends have started a go fund me and are holding a raffle to help with living expenses. Given the magnitude of the issues facing the family a larger benefit may be needed in the future. Binghamton Betterment paid for 3 months of the Family’s mortgage.
Brian lost his fight on November 3, 2018.
