The Lemonade Ripple, written and illustrated by Paul Reichert tells the story of how 5-year-old Caroline is inspired to start a lemonade stand to help raise money for a friend in need.  That simple act of generosity sets off a ripple of activity that spreads throughout the town where growing numbers of kids engage in larger acts of charity for the same good cause.  The children host a coin drive and a car wash, and the story culminates in a town-wide paddle race down the river. Along the way, the kids discover that every little bit of generosity matters and there are countless ways to have fun while helping others.
