Dennis Patrick “Pat” Curley (1941–2026) devoted his life to community, generosity, and service. An entrepreneur, volunteer firefighter, and supporter of the Foundation for Community Betterment, Pat brought warmth, humor, and joy to everyone around him.

Our friends within the Betterment network - including volunteers, chapter representatives, and supporters - nominate recipients for funding and support based on immediate need and lasting impact.
Betterment has helped nearly 500 recipients - individuals, families, and small organizations in need - since its first fundraiser in 2000.
