Jennifer McFarland had been battling cancer for 4 years, when she passed away on Feb. 23, leaving behind a loving husband and 2 young children. Jennifer was a middle school science teacher in AA county for the last 15 years. She was also a member of the General Federation of Women's Club. The GFWC is an organization geared towards community service. Jennifer has been an asset to the community, both as a public school teacher and with her community service work, and has raised her 2 young children in that fashion. We are sure they will continue the ripple as they grow older. Funds from the Megan Kolb INF went to pay 2 months of electric bills for the family.
