Talia is a mother of 6 children ranging in age from 9 to 27.  In recent weeks, Talia and her family has been hit hard by 2 tragedies.  Her eldest child was shot and has been recovering in the hospital in another state.  Talia is unable to be with him during his recovery as she has to work and continue to support and care for her younger children still at home.  in addition, Talia's brother was shot and killed.  The bulk of his funeral expenses has fallen to her.  Betterment was able to ease Talia's burden just a bit by paying a month of bills.
