Chaz Singer & Laura Smithir have a 1 year old daughter named Gabby who has cerebral palsy. Gabby was being treated in the hospital in February with an unknown infection. Both Chaz and Laura are employed full time with minimum wage incomes and manage their weekly budget of expenses very tightly with little room to spare. The hospitalization combined with additional day care expenses for their 3 year old Jamison had them stretched beyond their means. Additionally, Gabby required a special car seat for added comfort and safety due to her disability. The car seat will meet Gabby’s need for 4 to 5 years. Funds went towards a car seat for Gabby, as well as child care expenses.
