2010 Cleveland Black & White Ball Recipient

Nick was diagnosed with head and neck cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy treatment.  Despite his illness, he helped raise his granddaughter in his home.  He also provided support to other cancer patients, helping out with American Cancer drives and other similar fundraisers.  Nick also volunteered at the Italian-American Club in Little Italy, where he would drive elderly people to and from doctor appointments.  Nick's car stopped working so he was unable to continue this service.  Funds raised at the Black and White ball helped off-set car repairs to allow Nick to get to and from his appointments and to continue helping others.
