Rosemary Savage recently graduated from Alexandria Bay Central School and has faced many life challenges. She has been given wonderful support by a group of ladies in Alexandria Bay who realized her potential. Betterment will help her continue her education by purchasing her books this year at the University of Rochester. She will continue to work toward her goal of becoming a doctor so that she, too, will be able to give back to her community.  

2012 update: Rosemary graduated in June from the University of Rochester.  She has been accepted to West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine for 2013.  Her plan is to give back to the community when she is finished with medical school and so far she is really an inspiration!
