2009 Cleveland Black & White Ball Recipient

For her whole life, 10-year-old Natalia Pozuelo had fought an illness where a missing enzyme caused toxic by-products to accumulate in various organs, and was at risk for infection  even after a successful bone marrow transplant.  Funds raised at the Black and White ball supported the installation of a household air purification system so that Natalia could be at home with her family.
