Scott is a faithful husband, dedicated father to 4 children as well as grandfather to one.  Scott and his wife Ellen reside in VA Beach and have been loyal members to their church for decades and have given time, money, housing and wisdom to countless numbers of teens and young adults throughout the years.  Scott developed some health complications almost a decade ago which started with some heart surgery.  Shortly thereafter, his organs started to shut down.  He was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder - Catastrophic Antiphospholipid Syndrome (CAPS).  What was supposed to be a short stay in the hospital turned into a 4 month stint with a variety of complications at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.  While Scott was fighting hard for his health, the financial impact has taken its toll.  Immediate Need Funds went towards providing lodging and travel expenses for Ellen as she supported her husband.
