2014 Alexandria Bay Immediate Need Fund Recipient

Norman Horner Sr. recently had an operation for a colostomy and entered an Albany Hospital for a 6-8 week treatment for bone cancer. The family went from two incomes to one. Norman's wife, Dorothy, is a hairdresser and was traveling back and forth to Albany (400 miles roundtrip) in order to keep her business and income going. Monies from the Immediate Need Fund went towards gas cards to help with costs as the family continued to travel back and forth for the 2 months.
