2008 Chicago Eat, Drink and Be Scary Recipient

Normal Moments is a local Chicago Organization that assists parents of children with critical illnesses to share more normal moments every day.  Started by Patricia Fragen after the kindness and assistance give to her by friends during the period of her daughter's terminal illness, Normal Moments helps by alleviating household stresses while parents care for their hospital-bound child.  Donations from the Eat, Drink and Be Scary event helped Normal Moments provide such services as house cleaning, yard work and delivering nutritious meals to families in need as well as fund needed background checks for volunteers who provide them.
