A woman with her own philanthropic spirit and close connection to Community Betterment, Monica Snyder has endured much physical pain before recently being diagnosed with Chlari Malformation of her brain - a condition that also affected her young daughter, requiring multiple surgeries - and a connective tissue disorder, among other things.  While Monica's Family has overwhelming medical expenses, money raised at Rocktoberfest helped alleviate the immediate strain of travel expenses as Monica received treatment in Boston and Toledo.
