Molly & Larry Briere, Alexandria Bay, NY
2015, 2022 Alexandria Bay INF
Larry works for the Town of Alexandria and was injured during the 1998 ice storm. The injury has progressively worsened. In June of 2015, while working for the Town, Larry was re-injured and is now unable to work and provide for the family. He is waiting on health insurance approval for surgery on his back so that he can get back on his feet. Molly has worked on the annual Betterment Committee for 4 years when her sister was a recipient. She has participated in local events including volunteer hours and baking goods for our events. She participates decorating the village around Christmas time. Funds from the local INF were used to purchase 4 tons of wood pellets for the Briere family to get them through the winter months for heating their home. The Brieres were again helped in 2022 with heating costs.
