Megan & Brant Kolb, Annapolis, MD

2012 Betterment Annual Golf Tournament Recipient

The Kolb's were neighbors in Annapolis with young children and were very engaged with coaching and other activities.  Megan was diagnosed in 2008 with Breast Cancer and had been fighting hard against the disease.  She found out that it had moved to her liver and brain and she was doing extensive therapy.  In addition, they had a leaky roof which needed repair that would cost approximately $3500 to replace.  They were engaged in the community and this helped them focus on the important things that involve Megan's battle with Cancer.

Sadly, Megan passed away last night.  She had been fighting breast cancer for the past two years.  Betterment was able to give the Kolb family something to smile about and provide some hope and support during their very difficult time.
