The Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program for physically and mentally challenged individuals was founded in 1998 in memory of Bill Lounsbury, a long time volunteer member of the Holiday Valley Ski Patrol, who lost his leg, and ultimately, his life to cancer.
This organization offers lessons to persons afflicted with over a dozen maladies including spinal chord injuries, amputations, MS and visual impairment. For the 5th consecutive year, Betterment is proud to support this program by assisting with the purchase of a children’s bi-ski.
