Lanie was dependent on alcohol and drug for many years.  After hitting bottom, she went into rehab.  She has been sober and drug free for 10 years and is close to completing her degree.  Her dream is to help others that suffer from addiction. 

Funds went towards paying 2 months of mortgage..
