Why I love being involved in Betterment: As a former employee for the Foundation for Community Betterment, I gained a unique perspective on the organization as a whole.  My direct contact with recipients allowed me to see, first-hand, the impact that every Betterment event or donation had on each individual or group.  I was also fortunate to see what many do not - the hard work and dedication that the board members and volunteers give to the Foundation on a daily basis, without which Betterment could never be the successful organization that it is today.  I was humbled to be asked to join such a devoted group of individuals and I hope that now I will be able to contribute to both the organization and network of people that have been such an inspiration to me.
