Kim is a single mom of a son in the Military.  She is battling cancer, needing multiple rounds of Chemotherapy, and due to her many doctor appointments can only work 2 days per week.  Betterment helped out with gift cards for food and gas, as well as paying 6 months of car payments so Kim could focus on her health.
