2018 Cleveland Chili Cook-off Recipient​

On September 11, 2018, Kim’s basement caught fire. The fire completely destroyed the basement level leaving nothing behind.  All of Kim’s overstock storage from her kitchen was lost, along with her washer, dryer and furnace.  Due to smoke damage to the rest of the house, the house is considered a total loss and is being torn down to the studs. Two months of mortgage payments from Betterment gave them some “relief” so that they could purchase other items with their income that were lost in the fire.
