Kelly Downey, Alexandria Bay, NY

Kelly Downey was in need of a liver transplant and was on the list to receive a transplant.  Kelly's husband is deceased, and her father, Larry McCauley was in the hospital and unable to assist.  Kelly, employed in the Alexandria Central School cafeteria, was currently unable to work.  However, grandparent's day at the school, there was Kelly volunteering her time to help at the luncheon.  Larry McCauley had been an active member in the community for many years; as he was involved in local hockey and just finished serving on the school board.  Kelly was not able to work for several months after the surgery, and was in need of funds to get the family through this difficult time.
