Katelyn was a 19 month old with Tay Sachs Disease (a fatal neurological disorder) and her health was declining every day.  She was diagnosed in September 2008 and her family needed assistance with day to day functioning to assist her with eating, bathing, and traveling.  She was hospitalized in June for two and a half weeks at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in a coma, as a local hospital did not have the capacity to handle her disease.  She returned home with limited function, with a feeding tube and lacked the energy she had before.  Funds raised at Rocktoberfest helped to purchase a special car seat for Katelyn.
