2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 Chippewa Bay Paddle for a Purpose Recipient

The mission of the Hammond Backpack Program is to help alleviate child hunger by providing hungry children with nutritious and easy to prepare food at times when other resources are not available, such as weekend and school vacations. Children are provided child friendly, nutritious and easy to prepare food every Friday to help them and their families through the weekend and over holiday breaks. Donations from the paddle went towards providing 15% of the annual need for supporting 25 families in Hammond every week.
