Gustavo is currently in the 4th grade at STEPS Center for Excellence in Autism.  Despite his challenges, Gustavo always displays a positive attitude and assists his classmates and teachers.  His hard-working mother dedicated over 10 years working at the Cleveland Clinic helping others.  She was let go from that job due to the overwhelming nature of Gustavo's needs.  His mom now works two jobs in order to support the family, but they are behind on bills and have recently been without gas and electric.  Gustavo has an hour commute to school each way and his older brother usually takes him back and forth via public transportation.  Your support of Betterment's Black and White Ball helped this family with their monthly utility bills as well as offset transportation costs to and from school for Gustavo to be able to continue to get the support he needs for his autism.
