Grace suffered from bi-polar with schizoaffective disorder.  Because of the disease's ability to fluctuate, she was unable to monitor her medication intake.  She had two goals: keeping her medication regulated and counseling/therapy sessions to help her learn to one day live in a group home or maybe her own.  Her long term goal was to attend college and study psychology where she could help others who suffer from mental health issues. The gift from Betterment assisted Grace with the purchase of a computer to allow her to take online education classes.
