2016 Immediate Need Recipient​

The mission of Grace House of Memphis is to empower women and families by removing barriers and restoring hope. Grace House provides a full continuum of gender specific, long term residential and outpatient treatment services to women whose lives have been negatively impacted by alcohol or illicit drug use, and most often have at least one co‐occurring mental disorders, and usually trauma. A woman is never turned away because of the lack of financial resources. The women served at Grace House require intense long term residential treatment, usually a 4‐6 month stay at this facility, along with supportive, rehabilitative and habilitation services because of their histories of substance abuse, trauma, and, often, mental disorders, putting them at higher risk for relapse. Money went towards much needed repairs and maintenance, including new tires, alignment and brakes, on Grace House’s primary transportation van.
