Gordon Court is a complex of apartments with a community center. Most of the people that live there are elderly and many are unable to take care of themselves. It consists of 30 units and houses 30 people and is located in Alexandria Bay. The people that reside here are a little community within the community. They give back to the larger community by working at dinners, helping with the figure skating next door and flag ceremonies at the school, which is right across the street.  Most of the people that live in the center do not have the means to do anything extra. Their needs are small.  Monies raised at this year's paddle went towards a portable greenhouse and pots to beautify the entrances to the buildings and a microwave in the central area of the community center.
