Friends of the Pound, Canton, OH

Friends of the Pound (FOTP) is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that works with the Stark County Dog Warden to improve the quality of life of homeless puppies and dogs and increase their chances of rescue and adoption.  FOTP has created a vet room and surgery suite inside the pound where most dogs are treated for infectious but treatable diseases.  Because these conditions are contagious, they need an isolation room where dogs can be quarantined with no risk of infecting the population.  Funds raised at Rocktoberfest helped with the cost of this isolation room, water and drainage system.
