2011 Chicago Cinco de Mayo Event Recipient

Desiree, a freshman at Millikin University, was raised by a single father in downtown Chicago and her desire was to go to college and study creative writing.  Desiree had been using her time and talents while in high school to tutor grade school students through a Chicago Park District Program.  Betterment was happy to help Desiree with funds for a computer to aide Desiree in keeping up with her studies as a freshman in college.
