2015 Immediate Need Fund

Christina C. is a single woman and caregiver for her 88 year old grandmother. Before relocating to Maryland, she was active within her church community in Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul, Calvary Chapel, the Salvation Army, Red Cross, United Way and Urban League. She is drawn to the Betterment mission of ‘paying it forward” and looks forward to participating in future events in the greater Annapolis area. She was recently diagnosed with Graves disease and is unable to work at this time while trying to get the disease under control. Money from the INF went towards paying two months of back rent to avoid eviction.
