Chris Carrasquillo is a high school senior (one of 4 children) and was recently diagnosed with cancer. His parents have been taking him for treatments several times per week. The Carrasquillos have lived in the Alex Bay area for many years with two of their children already graduated, Chris graduating this year and a younger son in high school. Chris has been a very active member of select chorus and has played major roles in several musicals. Monies from the Immediate Need fund went towards gas cards for getting to and from treatment, as well as a new A/C unit. Monies raised during the paddle were used to pay 6 months of mortgage.  An additional 4 months of rent was paid for by the Immediate Need Fund.
