2009 Canton Rocktoberfest Recipient

The Canton Challenger Baseball League is a little league for children and young adults with disabilities.  They are a non-profit organization that relies solely on donations and sponsors to pay for expenses.  No one is turned down due to their disability or if they cannot afford to play in the league.  They play in the state championships each year - 2010 is in Toledo, OH.  The players thrive in this program, for many this is the one time their disability is not a factor.   Funds raised at Rocktoberfest helped with the cost of new team uniforms and supported a family that could not afford to attend the championship next year in Toledo.
