2012 Alexandria Bay R.J. McLennan Immediate Need Fund Recipient

Bryan Tidd was 33 years old and had lived with cycstic fibrosis from childhood.  He graduated from Alexandria Central HS and went on to college to receive a BA in criminal justice.  He had been an active participant in the Alexandria Bay yearly golf and paddle for Betterment, along with his father and step-mother.  In 2012, Bryan received his lung transplant in NYC and was doing great.  Before and after his transplant, he was unable to work due to his health.  Betterment's generosity helped Bryan and his family get back on their feet after this prolonged period without a steady income.
