2023 Alexandria Bay Chapter Immediate Need Fund Recipient

Tammy Jo is a vital volunteer EMT for the village of Alexandria Bay. One of Tammy's daughters has significant health concerns, including type 1 diabetes and a recent diagnosis of a mass in her brain. This mass was mercifully determined to be non-cancerous but will require significant monitoring by her physicians. In December 2022, Tammy was severely injured when she fell on the job, damaging her knee. Betterment donated funds which was matched by two local organizations to help with household bills.
