Beech Creek Botanical Gardens and Nature Preserve, Alliance, OH

2015 Canton Betterment Bash Recipient

A non-profit formed in 1999 (then known as The Botanical Garden Association), Beech Creek Botanical Gardens and Nature Preserve provides horticultural education to the community, working to inspire a love of nature and environmental awareness in area youth.  They rely on grants, donations, memberships, and volunteers to maintain their green houses, butterfly house, and grounds.  Money raised at Betterment Bash helped build a wheel-chair accessible sidewalk.
