Carolynn and Ashley Swanson are two young (ages 20, 21), hardworking girls in our Hammond community who both attended Hammond Central School. Carolynn, the oldest, graduated from Clarkson University with honors this past December and is currently searching for a full time job.  Ashley, the youngest, is a customer service representative at Vintage Doors in Hammond. Just over a year ago these sisters experienced the terrible and heartbreaking loss of their mother, Sharon. She passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on November 1st, 2013 at the age of 51 years old. As if this was not enough, on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 their father also suddenly passed away from heart failure––at the age of 53. Donations from the National and Alexandria Bay Immediate Need Funds went towards expenses incurred by the sudden death of both parents.
