Ariel and Rosetta, Canton, OH
2008 Immediate Need Fund Recipient
Ariel and Rosetta, ages 16 and 17, had just finished a summer of working in their neighborhood in Canton, Ohio to help revitalize it. They earned a small stipend through the program at the Multi Development Services of Stark County called SNET II. Their proceeds went directly to their grandmother to help with food and rent. Through the Immediate Need Fund, representatives of the Canton chapter took the girls on a shopping spree to purchase new clothes for the school year. The donation not only dressed them for success, but increased their self esteem and confidence.
