The Fund for Alexandria's Child is the vehicle through which the Alexandria community supports children in foster care or who are at risk of serious abuse and neglect.  Although the state government provides for the children's room and board, medical care and basic necessities, there are no provisions for the things that other children take for granted in our society.  In an effort to normalize and enrich the lives of these children in crisis, the donation from Betterment helped to provide both school and every day activity clothing for the children in the program.
