7th Annual Alexandria Bay Paddle Recipient

At the 7th Annual Paddle, we were able to surpass our financial goals and were able to provide even more help to our recipients than anticipated. Betterment supported the Alexandria Community Thrift Store sponsored by the Council of Churches by giving $3500, to pay their rent for 7 months.   This gift will help the thrift store in its infant stage and will enable many individuals in the community to purchase good clothing and household items at a very reasonable price- a gift that keeps on giving.
