In 2019, the Alex Bay Chapter donated monies toward the repair and resurfacing of the 4 Alex Bay Village tennis courts and towards the purchase of 6 new benches to place around the court area. Since the renovations, the courts have once again become a popular place for the community to gather (including for the Betterment tennis tournament each summer!) with often a large crowd waiting to use the community space. The Alex Bay Chapter approved funds to be used towards a joint campaign with community members to replace the remaining old benches at the courts.​
