Sherry is a well-known community member who has spent her entire adult life in Alex Bay raising her two sons with her husband. Sherry is currently battling breast cancer; she had a full mastectomy in April and has been undergoing chemotherapy in Syracuse, NY (105 miles from her home) since that time. The Alex Bay Chapter provided Sherry with  gas gift cards to help cover her travel expenses to and from Syracuse.
