2017 Megan Kolb Immediate Need Fund Recipient

Stephanie Ashdown recently passed away after her two year fight with ovarian cancer, leaving her husband Bob and there three young children. Those closest described Stef as a fighter, coach, mentor, and great friend. She was active in the community with volunteering with Girls on the Run and her children's school.  The family is involved in community events and you could often find Stefanie on the podium at local races either winning or placing in the top 3 of almost any race she competed in. The family continues to be faithful members and active with their church, St. Andrews by the Bay. The Ashdowns are a strong family unit and would always provide positive support and encouragement to one another. You would always see the family at activities the other family member was involved in, whether it be Violet's dance recitals, Acadia's string performances, Owens's games or Bob and Stef's races, they loved to cheer each other on and encourage and support others.  Funds went to cover one month mortgage.
