2020 Alexandria Bay Ron McLennan Immediate Need recipient

Betterment's local Alexandria Bay Chapter became aware of Crystal and her two children (ages 8 & 5) at the annual Rotary Christmas Party.  It became apparent that Crystal and her children were struggling financially, lacking in proper winter apparel to keep themselves warm during the cold winter months.  Upon further outreach, the chapter became aware that the family needed a place to live immediately.  Members of the Alexandria Bay Chapter were able to secure housing for Crystal and her children and funds from the Ron McLennan Immediate Need Fund were used to pay 6 months of rent.  In addition, furniture, beds and household goods were purchased from the fund.
