Cleveland Holiday Toy Drive!
The Cleveland Chapter held an outreach event, collecting toys for a 2nd grade class at St. Thomas Aquinas. The chapter was able to collect $450 in donations and donate over 25 toys to the class - check out the pictures below!
Cleveland Halloween Party a Huge Success!
The Cleveland chapter of the Foundation for Community Betterment brought back their annual Halloween Party which was held on all hallows eve at the Waterstreet Grille in downtown Cleveland. Over 100 people (many of them new to the Betterment family) joined Betterment in celebrating the holiday in style (and costume) with a night of mingling, dancing and revelry all in support of our Immediate Need Fund.
The Immediate Need Fund was created so that recipients can be given direct aid when they need it the most no matter where in the world they live. One of our most important funding priorities is to create an endowment to ensure the future and growth of the INF. As more and more people are touched by Betterment, and learn about our mission, we receive a growing number of requests every year. Expanding this fund will allow us to further our footprint far beyond our 10 chapters, and allow us to be even more responsive to needs in our current chapter communities.
