Eva is a single mother of two wonderful daughters, one of which is severly disabled. She is employed as a part-time preschool teacher, the demands and care of her daughters and mother (who also lives with her) prevent her from working fulltime.
In June 2012, Eva was diagnosed with a rare and potentially fatal kidney disease known as C1Q Nephropathy. In a little over a month, her condition has deteriorated to the point where she had to be hospitalized for a prolonged period and can no longer work. Eva is currently seeking treatment for her disease and is hoping to participate in research that is being conducted on this rare disease. Money designated for Eva will help her pay bills while she undergoes treatment.
