Amanda, a 35 year old mother of 2 children, ages 9 and 11, is married and works full time. In 2021, She was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer.  Prior to her surgery, doctors found a tumor on her liver.  Due to some recent headaches, she received further tests on her brain.  She is looking at surgery, radiation and chemotherapy in the near future. Funds from Canton’s “A Taste of Oakwood Square” helped pay her mortgage and provided food and gas cards.
